The Golden State Warriors are on the brink of breaking history. After winning on the road against the San Antonio Spurs, a game that the Warriors haven’t won in almost 40 games. The Warriors are currently 72-9 and have one more game to finishing the best record in NBA history.
After experiencing the third best winning record behind the Lakers and the Heat are the Warriors. Totalling a 24 win record is a huge reason why the Warriors have only signal digits in their loss column.

The big three of the Warriors features; Steph Curry who is averaging nearly 30 points per game, Klay Thompson 22 points per game and Draymond Green scores 14 points per game. 115 points per game is the average which is currently leading the NBA.

Warriors are the most efficient basketball team in the field shooting 48.7% from the field which is nearly 50%. From the 3 point line the average 41.5% from the field.

The Leadership of Steph Curry and the great all around shooting by the team is sometimes under credited as a reason for this astronomical number of wins. Regardless of how good Steph Curry plays.

Draymond Green and Andrew Bogut play stout defense around the rim with statistical evidence that the team has  6 blocks per game as well as 8.42 steals per game.
As well as having a great starting line up the players that rotate have held their own. Veterans Shaun Livingston, Andre Iguodala, Harrison Barnes, Leandro Barbosa and Festus Ezeli   combine for 38 points per game. This is quite a good statistic speaking that your big three stars combine for a 66 points per night. The rotational players add bench value to the team and have proven that they can rotate at any time and be a vital supplement for the splash brothers.

Many say that the Warriors get too much attention and that the Thunder, Spurs and Cavaliers are playing just as well if not better. Another statement is that the Warriors play no defense and despite not being the best defense it doesn’t really matter when you average 115 points per game. The next game for the Warriors is Wednesday vs. The Memphis Grizzlies.
