People are now just seeing the struggles of their offense as the 49ers are 1-3. Throwing multiple interceptions, stalled drives, ground passes and frankly just horrid play has made the NFL pay attention to this historic team. There isn’t much options to replace him, except for Blaine Gabbert who was a 1st round bust out Missouri, where he was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Which isn’t a great spot for any rookie quarterback. But now that Gabbert has grown into his own and learned the nuances of the offense there might be an opportunity for him to show his 1st round talent. Whatever is needed at this point is the phrase in the franchise currently. Expect the 49ers to replace Kaepernick if he continues to play the way he has been playing with Gabbert who will hope to revive their playoff hopes after the loss of Coach Harbaugh to Michigan and the retirement of key linebackers Patrick Willis and Chris Borland. Either way we wish the best for Kaepernick but we do hope to see some change in play for the 49ers to make the conference competitive once again.
