The Iron Bowl is without a doubt one of most famous rivalries in all of college football, and never fails to excite fans. Both teams remained close throughout the game, and several exciting plays were made by each team. With the score tied at 28, and 1 second remaining on the clock in the fourth quarter, Alabama Kicker Adam Griffith attempted a 57 yard field goal, which fell short. Auburn returner Chris Davis fielded the ball in the back of the end zone, running it back all the way back for a touchdown with no time left on the clock, giving Auburn the win. By beating the #1 team in the nation, and securing a spot in the SEC championship game, there was no better way for Auburn to finish their season.
