Following an exciting win against Episcopal in the IAC championship last week, Bullis capped off their season victoriously at Georgetown Prep this past Friday. Several Bullis students, teachers, and families came out to enjoy an exciting and emotional final game of the season.
Similarly to games past, the bulldogs pulled away when they needed to in order to secure victory. Bullis broke the game open during the third quarter, as running-back Devonte Williams (’15) scored two touchdowns, including a long 62 yard run to begin the third quarter. Later, in the fourth quarter, Haskins threw to wideout Jeremy Epstein (’14) for a 29 yard touchdown pass. In addition to a stellar offensive performance, The Bulldogs defense continued to dominate, shutting out the Little Hoyas the second half and capping off Bullis’ 35-7 victory.
The Bullis football team enjoyed a great deal of success this season, finishing with an impressive 9-1 record and an IAC title. While the team will lose twelve seniors next year, the future remains bright for Bullis football. As they sit atop of the IAC, the Bullis community cannot wait to see what is in store for next season.
