Going forward, rumor has it that Bullis will have a breakfast bar for use by the students in the morning. Many students wake up around 6 a.m. every morning and have to catch the bus at 7 a.m without getting something to eat. Unfortunately, these students may not know the importance of breakfast. Several doctors suggest that breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it gives your brain energy to kick start your morning.
The Bullis community has responded positively to the idea of having a breakfast bar. “I think it’s a wonderful idea, with the kind of commute that many students have, having a option to have breakfast when they get here is a really great idea,” said office manager Julie Booth.
Pamela Bass, School Store Manager, comments on the time expectancy and says, “the new building breaks ground in the fall and it takes a couple years to build, so it won't be done for a few years.”
When asking students on if they would use the breakfast bar in the future, sophomore Meghane Mombouli said, “it would be beneficial for all people who prefer breakfast food over lunch courses and many students do not get the chance to have breakfast.”
The Bullis breakfast bar will open in a few years, it will be welcomed by the Bullis community.
