The doors to the commons open and a new class of seniors can be heard playing football and doing things everyone else just can’t. Three years of high school in the bag and we’ve pretty much got everything figured out. Being the oldest and wisest of North Hall we have decided to share some of our knowledge with those less fortunate, that’s right, the freshman. Here are our top ten tips on how to survive high school.
Believe it or not freshman year counts.
Clubs, sports, community service activities. You get out of this place what you put into it.
3)Support your classmates
Go to sporting events, dance shows, musicals and anything else you can. If you support your classmates, they’ll support you.
4)Know the rules of the football games
Stay off the fence, cheer consistently, pay attention to the game, and don’t be annoying.
5)Stay out of the commons
Wait your turn, we all did.
6)Make new friends
There is like a million of you so don’t be confined.
7)Hallways are for walking
Don’t you dare create the freshman black hole, it’s tempting, but don’t do it
8)This isn't high school musical
Not everything works out the way you plan but it does work out. Also, we don't sing and dance (that much).
9)This also isn’t mean girls
We like each other here. Be nice because being mean is overrated.
You’re here for a while, better make the best of it.
