After traveling far distances for the greatest meal imaginable, students living near Bullis can finally get what they’ve wanted: Chipotle in the Potomac Village. When will it be open? Nobody knows. Nonetheless, the excitement and rumors are traveling that it may open very soon.
Despite the high anticipation, no one seems to know anything of high merit when it comes to the opening of one of the most popular Mexican cuisine restaurants in the area.
After doing some investigation myself, it is clear the restaurant will not be open for another few weeks or so. Without the large Chipotle sign in front of the building, you cannot tell what the workers could possibly be assembling inside.
In addition to the opening of the restaurant, much discussion surrounds whether that building will be a good fit for so many potential customers. Chipotle is notorious for its long, but generally quick, lines. With such a tight space to be working with, it is fair to have doubts about how successful the space will be.
Although it may be very clustered when it finally opens, there is no question customers would rather have a busy Chipotle in the Village as opposed to no Chipotle at all. So get ready, Potomac, because Chipotle will be here soon.
