As the weather gets colder, students become more aware of illness throughout schools. They struggle to stay healthy and to be at their best in the classroom. Colds and the flu are at large and the cold weather only makes it worse. Being prepared for the weather can sometimes be a hassle and time-consuming, which is why the developers at AGLogic developed a new app called Swackett X.
The app is designed to help people dress for success and style depending on what Mother Nature brings. Although we have a dress code at Bullis, Swackett analyzes the weather of your location up to the minute and gives stylish clothing suggestions for both men and women based on the forecast.
This weather based app allows users to see upcoming weather predictions via a 5-day forecast that includes the day’s highs and lows, real feel high and lows, wind speed and direction as well as any chance of precipitation.
In addition to the clothing suggestions and the 7-day forecast, the app also includes visuals of current weather radar over your selected location, weather fun facts and customizable features that allow you to adjust which temperature you consider to be cold, warm or hot.
The app allows students to educate themselves on how to dress depending on the day’s forecast. As students mature and move on to college, they will no longer have the helping hand of their parents to mold their styles into weather-appropriate ensembles. One of the major things that stand in the way of a student’s success is illness and sleep deprivation. With an app like Swackett X at your side, staying warm this winter will become easier, and as a result, students will not only feel better but do better.
Swackett X is currently available on the Apple App Store for $1.99. Although it’s not currently available on the Android Market, the developers have been experimenting with Android. However, no release date is available at this time.
