Thanksgiving is a time for traditions of all kinds; whether it be football or food, all students take advantage of their time away from school.
Like many other aspects of the Bullis community, our Thanksgiving Day traditions are extremely diverse.
Senior Katie Turco tells the Bulldog, “My entire family gathers at my Grandma’s house in New Jersey to stuff ourselves with turkey and pie.”
Junior Max Menkes gets excited for thanksgiving because he “plays football and cards with Gam Gam.”
Ms. Yen celebrates thanksgiving with “a Chinese infused feast” while Jessica Sauber waits all year for “Grandma’s marshmallow sweet potatoes.”
Senior Mike Fan uses his time to relax and “sleep for more than 14 hours a day” while Junior Steven Schollenberger gets active and “crushes [his] younger cousins in basketball every year.”
The Bulldog knows everyone’s thanksgiving is celebrated differently. Share your favorite Thanksgiving Day traditions in the comments below.
