On September 20, the highly anticipated Drake x Future collaboration titled “What A Time To Be Alive” dropped, causing a craze among fans. The creation of this album was a surprise, though, since Future had just come off of his very successful album, “DS2,” which was the #1 album on the Billboard charts. This shocking collab project was a very strategic move for both artists. With Drake coming off a nationwide buzz from his Meek Mill diss called “Back to Back” and Future selling over 150,000 units of “DS2,” it proved to be an extremely smart business move for both of the successful artists.

Rodeo from Travi$ Scott, while one of the most hyped projects of 2015, was expected by many to be terrible. He has been compared to almost every popular artists today, from Future to Kanye West, and has been accused of stealing other people’s styles (like Future’s “Straight-up” ad-lib, Scott’s “La Flame” nickname from Gucci Mane’s “La Flare”). He is considered to be one of the weakest rapper’s technically. He is known for producing on Kanye’s Yeezus but doesn’t do much of the production on his albums.
