While teachers and mentors have worked closely with the students to come up with each project, what is different about AP studio art is that it is very student-driven. Once students are given a prompt, they must come up with an idea relating to that prompt and being creating a piece themselves.
Monica Zuckerman (‘15) stated that, “We worked really hard this year to create art that we are really proud of...it makes it all worth it when people come to our shows so it was great to see a big crowd”.
All of the students and teachers involved did an incredible job and the community is eagerly awaiting the next show! Up next on the arts agenda, the Advanced Studio Art Show Opening on December 4.
Incase you were unable to make the show, check out the slideshow of some of their pieces!
